Our prices are no only consistent with your local store but also our prices adhere to guideline standards set by the manufacturers and dealers of the relevant brands being sold through our website. We offer free delivery within the UAE to your home or office within two working days. E-optics.com offers a hassle free and value for money service.

At E-optics.com we guarantee that you will receive the exact type and brand of contact lenses and prescription specified in your order. Each pair will arrive sealed in manufacturer's packaging or your entire purchase will be refunded. We also guarantee that all contact lenses will be delivered free of any manufacturer defects or we will replace them at no additional cost.   
 

What information do I need to order contact lenses?

A contact lens prescription is made up of specific data which we require to fill your order. All of this information is available on the packaging of the contact lenses you are currently wearing, or from your optometrist or optician. In most states eye care professionals are required to provide you with a copy upon request. Be sure it contains all the necessary information, including expiration date, and is signed by your eye care professional.

Here is the information that we need:

OD = Right Eye
OS = Left Eye
Brand Name (e.g. Acuvue)
BC / Base Curve (a number between 8.0 and 10.0)
DIA / Diameter (a number between 13.0 and 15.0)
Power / Sphere / Rx (a number between -20 and +20)

For astigmatic patients, we also need:
Cylinder (a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
Axis (a number between 0 and 180)
Cylinder and Axis are usually separated by "X" and read as "times"

A regular prescription would look like this:

OS  Brand Name: Acuvue
OS  BC: 8.8 DIA: 14.4 SPHERE: -2.50

OD  Brand Name:  Optima FW
OD  BC: 8.4  DIA: 14.0  SPHERE: -2.75

A prescription for astigmatism would look like this:

How do I order a product?

Simply follow the simple steps:                                                                                                                                         

1 - Choosing your products
select your product type by using the left hand menu or by using the Contact Lens Easy Finder. Lenses can be ordered according to a wearing schedule. eg. 3 months supply or by the box. Once you have identified your lenses, select the quantity and press Add to basket. This step can be repeated for each product you require. When you have finished shopping head to the checkout, you may login or register as a new customer.

2 - Personal details

3 - Pescription details
please provide your prescription for each product you order.

4 - Delivery details

Can I fax my order to E-optics.com?

Yes you can! Our fax number is +971 4 363 9495, please include all necessary information from your prescription; as well as your address and credit card information and your order will be processed promptly and directly shipped to you. If you can, try to complete the order on line first, automation is part of the reason we are able to keep our prices so low.

How can I return or exchange a product? (same as refund policy)

How does the Order Status Page Work?

E-optics.com wants to keep its customers as informed as possible about their order. The Order Status page monitors our system and constantly updates the information so that we offer a great deal of information about the order as it passed through the Order Process.

The Order Status page shows you all of your orders (past and present) identified by Order #, date, Shipping Address, and amount spent. Once you have located the order you are looking for then you can look at the next column. The Order Status column shows that order's position in the process.

Status Explanations -

  1. New - At this stage your order has been logged into our computer system but not yet downloaded to the warehouse.
  2. Processing - At this stage your order has been downloaded to our warehouse system and is being assembled in preparation for shipping. Processing times vary according to Product Availability, for further information about Product Availability you can read Product Availability.
  3. Shipped - At this stage your order has left the E-optics.com warehouse.  Refer to your chosen shipping method for an estimate on how long until you will receive your order. 
  4. Cancelled - If you have elected to delete an order (and contacted a phone representative) the order will appear as Cancelled on your Order Status page.
  5. Returned - If you have elected to return an order than the order will appear as Returned on your Order Status page once it has been logged into our warehouse.

How do I cancel an order?

E-optics.com seeks to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction, if at anytime before your order has been shipped you become uncomfortable with your order you may cancel the order or any portion of the order.*

Once your order has been shipped, we regret that we can no longer cancel your order. If there is a problem with an order that has already been shipped you will have to refer to our Returns and Exchanges Policy in order to complete your transaction.

In order to cancel an order, or any portion of an order, you need to contact our Customer Service Department and our Customer Service Representatives will assist you in making whatever changes you need.

* Custom Lenses, including novelty and made-to-order lenses, can not be cancelled, returned, or exchanged once the Order has been received.

page. Orders will be listed by the Order Number but they are also identified by their order date, shipping address, and the price of the order. If you do not remember your order reference number, or continue to have a problem with your order then contact our Customer Service Department.
 

Do you ship Internationally?

We ship orders world wide every day, delivery times are usually 5-10 days from dispatch. To avoid unexpected customs fees or duties, check with the customs department in your country about its importation policies. I have never worn lenses before, how do I begin?
when you try contact lenses for the first time you will need to ensure that you have an eye examination and a full consultation first. the consultation includes an eye health check, a discussion on lens types and suitability, a wear and care teach and an in store trial of your chosen lens.

What is a contact lens prescription?
a contact lens prescription details your individual lens requirements - the power of the lens you need, along with the size and recommended brand. your optician will issue your prescription once they are satisfied with the suitability of your lenses. this isn't always on the same day as fitting as some lenses can take slightly longer to adapt to.

Do I need a copy of my prescription to order contact lenses?
Yes. E-optics.com requires a valid prescription for all contact lens orders. You can obtain a copy of your prescription from your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.

I just received my eyeglass prescription. Can I order contact lenses from it?  
Unfortunately not. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. We can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully.

Can I get colour contact lenses without a prescription?  
No. Coloured contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. We can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully, to book an appointment with our Optometrist in Dubai, click here.

 

Return Policy  

At E-optics we guarantee that you will receive the exact type and brand of contact lenses specified in your order. Each lens will arrive sealed in the manufacturer's sterile packaging or your purchase will be refunded. In addition if within 30 days of order date the product is found unsatisfactory, used items, unopened boxes or glass vials of lenses can be returned for a full refund, noting the following:

  1. Custom Lenses, including novelty and made-to-order lenses, can not be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.
  2. A US$ 3 fee will apply to each return processed.
  3. Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable.

Return Process:

  1. Contact our Customer Service Department to who will send you a Returns form.
  2. Print and fill out the Returns Form and include it with your return. To receive credit, you must mail this Returns Form along with a copy of the original Packing Slip with your return. If you do not have the Packing Slip and cannot print the Returns Form, you can simply attach a note to your order indicating your name, the order number and the items you are returning, including the reason so that we can properly process the return.
  3. Re-pack only unopened and sealed contact lens vials or boxes for return. Contact lenses are regulated product, and cannot be resold if opened, damaged or tampered with. As such, UAE law prohibits us from accepting any opened products for return or exchange, unless a product defect exists, it's illegal for us to reuse or resell them.
  4. Address the return package as follows:

  1. For your protection, items should be returned via traceable mail. We recommend that you ship your return back to us via a respected courier with insured service. This protects you in case the shipment is damaged or lost in transit. This will also allow you to track your return shipment easily through that carrier. We cannot assume responsibility for misdirected, damaged, or lost shipments.

Please that it can take up to six weeks to complete the processing of your return (i.e., you send us the package, we credit you for your return, your credit card company reflects your credit, etc.).
